Callinan Coaches Ltd is a family run business, that was established in 1995 by Tommy Callinan, the company has grown from strength to strength, with on-going yearly investment to ensure that our coaches are one of the most luxurious in Ireland.
All our executive coaches are equipped with air-conditioning, restrooms, Wi-Fi, 220 Volt Sockets and USB Ports, DVD Player, Individual Reading Lights, Reclining Seats and Foot Rests for your convenience. With locations in the Galway and Dublin we are ideally situated for services across Ireland, The United Kingdom and Internationally. Safety
Driver Training
All our drivers undergo extensive training for every service that we operate on. This will ensure all legal requirements are met for working & driving time, driver safety checks are completed to a high standard daily. All drivers will undertake service specific training to ensure we deliver the high quality that each customer expects including route learning and customer service training. As part of the recruitment and selection process and as a matter of continuous improvement all drivers undergo a driver assessment undertaken by a qualified driver assessor.
Vehicle Safety and Cleanliness
All coaches are maintained to the highest standard of safety. All our coaches are subject to a safety and maintenance inspection every 4 weeks to ensure that each coach is maintained at the highest standards. Our trained team of mechanics work daily to ensure that our vehicles remain their reputation for passenger safety. Callinan Coaches is in the Top Passenger Transport Operators in Ireland stated by the RSA. Our coaches are equipped with the newest technology and fitted with the newest systems, to monitor and ensure our coaches are ran efficiently and ensure our vehicles are safe, for our passengers and our staff members. Our safety video is shown at the start of each journey to ensure passengers are aware of the safety equipment on board so that their journey is safer and more secure. Callinan Coaches put huge importance on the cleanliness of our coaches. Our team of cleaners ensure that the coaches leave our yard looking spotless from top to bottom.

History
Callinan Coaches was established in 1995 by Tommy Callinan. Tommy began driving coaches in 1988. In 1995 Tommy saw an opening in the market and began his own coach company, Callinan Coaches.
The first job he took on was transporting passenger to the Aran Ferries in Rosaaveal. Since then, the fleet has grown in order to facilitate the volume of work we have taken on from Tours around Ireland and the United Kingdom to Ski Trips to the Alps.
Over the years we have developed great relationships with our customers, we prioritise evolving to accommodate customers’ needs and having an understanding of what they want. Today our fleet currently contains, over 80 luxurious, modern, state of the art coaches that are equipped with comfortable reclining seats, foot rests, overhead locker storage, restrooms, individual reading lights and air vents.
Our coaches are fitted with Wi-Fi, DVD players, USB ports, 220V sockets and an on-board refrigerator. Our fleet is also made up of 50 double decker buses that are ideal for Park & Ride services. Our staff has also grown to over 200 staff members, in Ireland and the United Kingdom. Callinan Coaches is a family run business with many family members involved in the day to day operations of the business. Although the company has continued to grow larger and larger, each year Tommy can still be seen behind the wheel as well as in the boardroom overseeing various components of the business, ensuring the business is running efficiently. Tommy is the driving force of the company, with the passion portrayed by loyal, reliable staff and himself has led to Callinan Coaches becoming an award winning company throughout the years.
Callinan Coaches is committed to help the local communities. Callinan Coaches has and continued to sponsor local clubs, events and fundraisers on an annual basis. Tommy feels it is an important part of the business to make donations to allow Callinan Coaches to help and aid the local community growth.
